The Beginning....
AMUL has always been an influencing factor for creating my interest in dairy sector. Completing my graduation from Anand-The milk city of India, and roaming around AMUL, seeing the co-operative society functioning effectively under the leadership of farmers, I used to wonder how this co-operative organisaiton functioning in a small city like Anand is giving tough competition to big MNC functioning in Dairy sector. That is how my journey of interest in dairy evolved and I started reading every bit and piece of information that I came accross about it.
Than came a time when I got an interview call from SIMC [Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication] Pune for my post graduation. Getting into SIMC was cumulitavely a four day long tough process which included submission of Assignments followed by GD and PI.
The assignments at SIMC demanded us to take interview of TEN PR professionals working in Industry. I dont know whether it was a conscious or unconscious effort but the first interview that I took was of Mr.Sundaran-PR executive Amul. Till the time I took his interview I didnt had any idea, what PR is all about. It was a strange field for me. I was a business management student and thought Media and Communication is not my cup of tea. However personality of Mr. Sundaran acted as major influencing factor, and finally I landed up my self joing the PR course from reputed institute of Symbiosis.
Thus my journey to SIMC began and there by giving me an opportunity to explore my area of intersted in every assignment that I did at SIMC. My major analysis, my dissertation and my internships all were based on this beautiful sector revolving around nature and fulfuilling the daily needs of individuals.
